Grants and Charitable Support

Year End Charitable Support

Our club typically has $20,000-$25,000 available from fundraisers such as our Dining and Entertainment Books and Spaghetti Dinners which is distributed to community charities based on competitive application.   Most grants range from $500 to  $5,000 and are usually for projects rather than operations as multi year funding can not be guaranteed

The 2020 application is currently available and must be returned by April 17.  Decisions will be made and funding will be distributed by July.

District Matching Grants

One grant is available each fall typically in the  $5,000 to $10,000 range.  Applications are available by July 1 and should be returned by August 15.  A project is selected by September 15.  Eligible projects have to be completed by June 30 of the following year.  Opportunities for club members help with the project are a plus.

Specific Fundraisers

Typically funds generated from two or three events each year are earmarked for specific organizations.  Our June Ice Cream Festival and  Comedy Club Fundraisers are repeat examples.  Recipient organizations are asked to promote and possibly help with these fundraisers.
